壹人下班后直接奔向影院,明天是电影日,近年来正是本场。

It is not the heavy fate of Bruno and Shmuel that impressed me, but the
vehement theme conveyed throughout the film. To some extent, I think the
director is trying to illustrate the pain and suffering brought upon
innocent people by the Nazi. But what distinguishes this picture from
other similarly-themed pictures is the narrator in the film.

    After watching it,my heart felt depressed and sad,which led me to
think a lot about the human nature,the World War 2 and so on.
    Bruno,the nine-year old boy is the main character in the movie.His
father,who is called Ralf is an officer in charge of the massacre in
Auschwitz Concentration Camp.His mother Elsa is a kind woman who can’t
stand for the massacre of Jew.Pavel is the old servant of the family.He
is really understanding and kind-hearted.When Bruno hurted,he helped the
boy bind up the wound on knees.But the lieutenant Kurt Kotler,that bad
guy,beated Pavel to death just because of he acted slowly and knocked
over his goblet accidentally.And Shmuel,the another main character in
the film,is a Judean child and also Bruno’s friend in that place.
    Bruno meets Shmuel,and they become friends.He often goes to see him
secretly and brings him delicious food.The reason that leads to Bruno’s
death,in my opinion,it’s his father’s fault.At least there is a huge
responsibility of his father.If Ralf can tell his boy the truth of the
camp,tell him about his tasks and tell him what he will do to them,maybe
that tragic result will not become true.But why didn’t Ralf say his
tasks?Why did he keep this from his family?In the final analysis,it’s
his mind of the patriotism,or perhaps Ralf recognized his job as an
activity without humanity.But he has no choice.This is his mission.He
has the responsibilities for the revival of the motherland.All people at
that times will think as this,nobody excepted.
    So if we hold our views in this way,Bruno’s death in the end of the
story means a lot more.More than just a punishment to his father’s
deed.It’s a warn to that period,a warn to Germans who have the racial
discrimination against Jews,a warn to their fierce behavior toward
Jews.Everyone is equal in this world.Judeans also have the right to live
as a human,and especially they don’t make mistakes.Why you Germans
deprive them of their existence?
    The director of the movie maybe wanted to wake up our thinking about
human nature and let us make a deep reflect on the mistakes what mankind
made in the human history.This is the theme of this film and it prevents

supported by his father who had a high status in the army. Despite his
family background, Bruno showed great kindness and compassion for the
Jewish people hated by most of his family. But in doing so, himself and
his mother, the only two Germans with conscious, paid the price.

may still be able to justify their brutal behaviors until the lives of
the very people they were to protect are endangered by the very methods
they claimed to serve as “protection”.
